Billeting – Host Housing by Club Members

Overview: Little or No Cost
We understand the effort and expense involved to participate in the regattas for sailors and their families from out of town.
Local club members and regatta volunteers may offer no charge billeting, temporary hosting of visiting sailors in private homes.

Benefits:

  • Cost-effective.
  • Opportunity for sailors to connect with local community members.
  • Often close to the Royal Victoria Yacht Club.

 

Considerations:

  • Limited availability based on host capacity.
  • Arrangements should be completed well in advance.
  • Expectations for mutual respect of property and privacy should be agreed upon.

Coordination:
Contact the Organizing Committee or host fleet coordinator to inquire about:

  • Billeting availability.
  • Host profiles.
  • Any contribution (to be arranged directly with hosts).

Deadline for billeting requests should be received no later than July 1, 2026 or sooner.
