March 2026

Welcome to the 2.4 Canadian and North American Championship Regattas at the Royal Victoria Yacht Club, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
On behalf of the organizing authority, race officials, volunteers, and host community, it is our pleasure to welcome sailors, coaches, supporters, and officials to these championship events in Victoria, sailed on the local waters in and around Cadboro Bay. We are honoured to host an exceptional fleet, representing the very best of the 2.4 class from across Canada, North America, and beyond.

For families and supporters, Cadboro Bay and the greater Victoria area offers a wide range of attractions and activities. From coastal walking trails, beaches, and kayaking in and around the bay, to world-class gardens, museums, and historic sites in Victoria, there are many opportunities to explore while racing is underway. Local cafés, restaurants, and waterfront communities provide a welcoming setting to relax and enjoy the region’s natural beauty and maritime culture.

These regattas celebrate not only high-level competition, but also the values that define our class: skill, sportsmanship, inclusivity, and mutual respect on and off the water. We’re confident the racing ahead will be challenging, fair, and rewarding. The camaraderie ashore will be equally memorable.

Thank you for your commitment to the 2.4 class and for making the journey to compete here. We wish all sailors safe conditions, strong competition, and an outstanding championship experience. Start your planning, registration will open on May 1st, 2026. Welcome to Cadboro Bay, and good sailing!

… until Race One of the Canadian Championships!
